Uruguay Beats China 2-0 in Warmup

SHENYANG, China (AP) _ Sebastian Abreu scored twice in the second half to lead Uruguay over China 2-0 Thursday in a World Cup warmup.
China, readying for its first World Cup, held the Uruguayans to a scoreless first half, slowed by a torrential, 20-minute downpour,
Abreu scored in the 74th minute with a low drive past goalkeeper An Qi and got the second goal four minutes later, volleying a cross from Diego Perez off his left foot.
Uruguay, which left Montevideo last week, lost to the United States 2-1 Sunday in Washington before traveling to Asia. It is grouped with France, Senegal and Denmark in the first round of the tournament. China is grouped with Brazil, Costa Rica and Turkey.
