CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Cheyenne Frontier Days plans to break ground on a new building after this year's July 20-29 event.

Frontier Days CEO Tom Hirsig says the structure, bordering Frontier Park, will house the festival's General Committee, staff, and volunteers.

KGAB-AM reports the building also will house a convention center for offseason clients.

Hirsig says the building should be completed by June 2019.
