PRYOR, Okla. (AP) _ Orchids Paper Products Co. (TIS) on Thursday reported a loss of $6.9 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Pryor, Oklahoma-based company said it had a loss of 65 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 42 cents per share.

The maker of bulk tissue paper products posted revenue of $45.9 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $1.85. A year ago, they were trading at $9.49.
