TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities have identified three people found fatally shot inside a Tucson home in an apparent double murder-suicide.
Tucson police say the bodies of two men and one woman were found Wednesday night after a resident in the house went to a neighbor for help.
They identified the three Thursday as 49-year-old Rusty Coblyn, his 59-year-old wife Willa Coblyn and her 26-year-old son Matthew Johnson.
Police say it appears Rusty Coblyn killed his wife in a back bedroom sometime Wednesday and then later shot her son when he came home.
They say Matthew Johnson's twin brother escaped injury and went to a neighbor's home for help when Rusty Coblyn's two guns malfunctioned.
Responding officers reported hearing a gunshot and Rusty Coblyn was found dead inside the home from a self-inflicted wound.
