COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) — Officials say a Vermont school bus crashed into another vehicle, causing a traffic backup in Colchester.

Police say the crash happened Tuesday morning on Route 7 when a car pulled out in front of the bus. WCAX-TV reports the car's driver and one Essex-Westford student on the bus were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police say there was a substantial traffic backed up from the crash. There were no immediate details about charges against any involved parties.

Colchester Police Cpl. Jamie Bressler is reminding people to lookout for the big, yellow buses, saying "they're hard to miss, but, you know, you can't pull out in front of one."
