AMSTERDAM (AP) — Feyenoord thrashed Heracles Almelo 6-0 Sunday to keep the pressure on Dutch Eredivisie leader Ajax, which remains on track for a third straight league title after winning 2-0 at NAC Breda a day earlier.

Ajax cemented its place atop the league through Kolbeinn Sigthorsson scoring in first half injury time and an own goal by Tim Gilissen seven minutes into the second half.

PSV scored five first-half goals against Groningen on Saturday but relaxed after the break and conceded twice for a 5-2 victory that left it second, four points behind Ajax. The Amsterdam club can seal the title with a win next weekend against last-place Willem II.

Feyenoord is level on points with PSV but the Eindhoven club has a better goal difference.
