REVERE, Mass. (AP) — The Boston Archdiocese says a Roman Catholic school worker in Revere has been placed on leave and three supervisors have resigned after reports of possible indecent exposure by the worker in a boy's bathroom.
The archdiocese said Tuesday the Immaculate Conception School's parish priest, principal, and a teacher resigned after failing to report the allegations "in a timely manner." Temporary replacements are being appointed.
Archdiocese officials said they learned only in the last few days about the alleged incidents, which may have occurred at the school over the past month and a half.
The archdiocese says it has informed the state Department of Children and Families. The Suffolk district attorney's office and Revere police also are investigating.
Church officials plan a private meeting for parents. The school has students from pre-school to eighth grade.
