Oct. 06, 2016
BOSTON (AP) — Gov. Charlie Baker and his wife, Lauren, are headed for Ireland.
The Bakers were scheduled to leave Thursday night for the weeklong visit, described by the governor's office as a "scheduled personal trip."
They are scheduled to return Oct. 13.
Aides say the Republican governor say he will remain in communication with his staff on a regular basis during the trip.
