EUGENE, Ore. (AP) _ Jamal Lawrence scored 25 points and hit seven 3-pointers as Oregon cruised past Southern California, 80-60, Thursday night in Pacific 10 Conference basketball.
The Ducks (15-12, 8-8 in Pac-10) got started early as Lawrence scored eight of Oregon's first 10 points. The Trojans never got closer than 10 points after the first five minutes.
Southern Cal (11-16, 4-11) was without forward Stais Boseman and center Avondre Jones in the opening period. They were benched in the first half for missing a team meeting earlier in the day.
David Crouse started at center and Behzad Souferian started at forward in place of Boseman and Jones. The Trojans were down 46-26 at halftime.
The Trojans didn't get within 15 points in the second half.
Oregon guard Kenya Wilkins scored 18 points and had four assists and five steals for the Ducks, while guard Jamar Curry added 12 points and four assists.
Crouse paced the Trojans with 17 points and 12 rebounds and guard Martin Brandon scored 16 points and had six assists.
Boseman had 10 points for the Trojans and Jones had two points and five rebounds.
The Trojans had 24 turnovers.
