Undated (AP) _ Bara Linda rallied from eighth midway down the backstretch to win the $44,005 Patricia Stakes by five lengths Wednesday at Hialeah Park.
Bara Linda had moved into the lead to stay on the inside by the time she reached the far turn. She won two of nine starts last year.
Attendance was 7,684 at Hialeah, which concludes its season Thursday.
Ridden by Odin Londono, Bara Linda covered 1 1/8 miles in 1:49 1-5 to win the race for 3-year-old fillies on grass. She paid $10.40, $4.80 and $3.20.
Ribaldry was second and paid $5.20 and $4.20. Topicount paid $5.20 to show.
Tomorrow's Child led all the way in winning the $80,000 Pasadena Stakes by 2 3/4 lengths over Forewarning at Santa Anita.
Tomorrow's Child, ridden by Patrick Valenzuela and carrying 116 pounds, covered six furlongs in 1:10 3-5 and paid $6.40, $3.60 and $3.20.
Forewarning, a 26-1 longshot ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye and carrying 116 pounds, crossed the finish line a half-length in front of Cushion Cut and returned $11 and $5.40.
Cushion Cut, a 31-1 longshot ridden by Sandy Hawley and carrying 114 6ounds, was a nose ahead of 6-5 favorite Deanna's Special at the wire and paid $5.80 to show.
