Boy shot while waiting at St. Louis bus stop with his mother

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Authorities say a 9-year-old boy has been shot and wounded while waiting at a St. Louis bus stop with his mother.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the boy was struck in the lower back or buttocks Sunday afternoon. He was conscious and breathing when taken to Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center. His medical condition wasn't available.
His mother said she heard gunshots Sunday afternoon while waiting at the bus stop with the boy and two other sons, ages 1 and 3. It wasn't clear where the gunshots came from, and police had no suspects.
