Now that Ndamukong Suh is with another team, he finds the Miami Dolphins' soft run defense funny. The five-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle posted a comment on Instagram under a video of a 71-yard touchdown run by Carolina's Christian McCaffrey against Miami in an exhibition game Friday.

JAGUARS-SUSPENSIONS

JACKSONVILLE — Cornerback Jalen Ramsey and defensive end Dante Fowler are back from suspension, but neither is talking about what got them banned for a week or how they spent their time away. They were not available during an open locker room session Monday. The team said both players will answer questions following Jacksonville's preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday night. By Mark Long.

MINNESOTA-QBS

MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota has tabbed true freshman walk-on Zack Annexstad as the starting quarterback to open the season. Gophers coach P.J. Fleck announced after practice on Monday that Annexstad will be behind center on Aug. 30 against New Mexico State. Fleck said he's not planning a rotation between Annexstad and redshirt freshman Tanner Morgan, but the coach said he expects Morgan to see some action this year.

NCAA-FLORIDA STATE AD

INDIANAPOLIS — Florida State athletic director Stan Wilcox is leaving for the NCAA, filling the job vacated when Oliver Luck left to run the new XFL. The NCAA announced Monday that Wilcox will serves as executive vice president of regulatory affairs. Luck, the former West Virginia athletic director, filled that role for four years before stepping down in June.
