KATMANDU, Nepal (AP) _ Two Americans killed in the head-on collision of two buses in west Nepal will be cremated Wednesday on the banks of the Bagmati River, officials said.

Adam Zakir of Richmond, Calif., and his wife, Karen Lee Duthie, were among 25 people killed in the crash Friday at Adhuwa Mandrebhir, about 95 miles west of Katmandu.

U.S. Embassy officials said Monday they had received authorization from the families for the cremation.
