DAYTON, Ohio (AP) _ Robbins & Myers Inc. said Wednesday it will close its valve factory in Lumberton, N.J., in March.

The plant employs about 30 people. About 10 management or administrative employees will be transferred to other jobs within the company, spokesman Hugh Becker said.

The plant makes valves used to control liquid flow at factories and sewage treatment plants. The work load from the Lumberton facility will be shifted to the Robbins & Myers plant in Springfield, Ohio.

Robbins & Myers makes valves and other fluid management systems used in industry, mining, and oil and gas recovery.
