GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. (AP) _ StarTek Inc. (SRT) on Tuesday reported a second-quarter loss of $3.7 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Greenwood Village, Colorado-based company said it had a loss of 23 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and asset impairment costs, were 14 cents per share.

The call center operator posted revenue of $59.7 million in the period.

StarTek shares have fallen 21 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $7.83, a decline of 38 percent in the last 12 months.
