SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — A man suspected of killing a woman he was dating and leaving her body in an alley has been arrested in Southern California

The Press-Enterprise reports Damian Aispuro was booked into jail Wednesday on suspicion of murder and is being held without bail. It wasn't immediately known if he has an attorney.

San Bernardino police say they were alerted Tuesday about a woman lying in an alley. There they found Magan Putnam suffering from a head injury. She died at the scene.

Detectives learned she had been dating Aispuro, who frequently visited family members on the north side of the alley. Authorities say detectives used video surveillance and witness statements to identify him as a suspect.
