1 Killed, 2 Injured in Steel Plant Fire

MARION, Ohio (AP) _ Fire broke out at a north-central Ohio steel mill today, killing at least one employee and injuring two others, officials said.
The fire at Marion Steel was reported about 7:30 a.m. and was extinguished by 9 a.m., said Fire Dispatcher Kris Persinger.
The cause of the fire was not known.
Persinger said one employee was killed.
Marion General Hospital treated two employees. One was released, and the other was transferred to the Ohio State University Hospitals burn unit in Columbus.
Marion is about 40 miles north of Columbus.
