MIAMI (AP) _ Stokosky pulled away in the stretch to win the $100,000 Grade III Tropical Turf Handicap at Calder on Saturday.

Stokosky, with fill-in rider Carlos Hernandez up, covered the 1 1/8 miles in 1:48 3/5 and paid $64,60, $19.60 and $13.00.

Stokosky, a homebred 4-year-old colt owned by Santa Cruz Farm, has five wins in 19 starts and career earnings of $149,125.

Special Coach finished in a dead heat for second and paid $8.80 and $8.20. Band Is Passing paid $3.20 and $3.80.

In the Grade III My Charmer Handicap for fillies and mares, Wild Hearts Dancing was moved to first after Megans Bluff was disqualified for bearing in and bumping 70 yards from the wire.

Wild Heart Dancing, ridden by Jorge Chavez, covered the 1 1/8 miles on the turf in 1:47.25 and paid $9.20, $5.00 and $4.00. Megans Bluff was second and paid $3.80 and $3.00. Orange Sunset paid $4.80 to show.

Rocket Riley built a three-length lead by the sixteenth pole and outlasted Outofthebox to win the Grade III What A Pleasure Stakes for 2-year-olds.

Rocket Riley ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:48 1/5 and paid $29.60, $8.60 and $540. Outofthebox paid $4.20 and $3.60. Horrible Evening paid $8.80 to show.

Halo Reality beat heavily-favored Thunder Bertie by four lengths in the Three Ring Stakes for 2-year-old fillies.

Halo Reality, ridden by Rene Douglas, covered the 1 1/16 miles in 1:47 3/5 and paid $5.40, $5.20 and $2.10. Southern Fiction paid $10.20 and $2.10. Thunder Bertie paid $2.10 to show.
