Nov. 06, 2017
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Gov. Doug Burgum has directed all government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff out of respect for the victims of Sunday's shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
The governor's directive continues through sunset on Thursday. Burgum is encouraging North Dakotans to do the same at their homes and businesses.
The governor's directive is in accordance with a proclamation issued by President Donald Trump.
