SAN FERNANDO, Calif. (AP) — A Los Angeles university student athlete is accused of attacking and sexually assaulting three women this year.
The City News Service reports a criminal complaint accuses the California State University, Northridge student of forcibly raping a woman, sexually battering and falsely imprisoning another woman and battering a third woman.
Authorities say the most recent case occurred in July.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office says the student is scheduled to be arraigned next month at the San Fernando courthouse on three felony counts.
The office says he could face up to 12 years in state prison if convicted as charged.
Authorities aren't saying whether the women involved are also students at the university.
