No. 4 OKLAHOMA (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) at No. 25 TCU (3-0, 0-0), 3:30 p.m. (Fox)
Line: Oklahoma by 5.
Series Record: Oklahoma leads 9-4.
WHAT'S AT STAKE
Oklahoma has won eight games in a row, the second-longest active FBS streak behind Florida State's 20. The Sooners are currently the best-positioned Big 12 team for the new four-team College Football Playoff, but the league loses one of its three remaining undefeated teams in this game (No. 7 Baylor is the other). The last Big 12 team to play its conference opener, TCU also plays on consecutive weeks for the first time this season.
TCU's new up-tempo offense against Oklahoma's defense. The Horned Frogs changed their offense to be more like other Big 12 teams. Their 44.7 points and 532 total yards a game are on par with Oklahoma's 44.8 points and 495 yards. But this is TCU's first test against a Big 12 defense, whose wins include FCS team Samford and hapless SMU.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Oklahoma: Sophomore CB Zack Sanchez has an interception in every game this season, and six picks his last seven games. Freshman RB Samaje Perine had a breakout game with 34 carries for 242 yards and four TDs vs. West Virginia.
TCU: Junior QB Trevone Boykin is third overall in the Big 12 with 347 total yards per game, leading the Horned Frogs in both passing (286 yards per game) and rushing (61 yards per game). Boykin has thrown eight touchdowns with only one interception, and run for three scores.
