EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) _ Jason Arnott, Petr Sykora and Scott Gomez each scored two goals, and Martin Brodeur earned his seventh shutout of the season as the New Jersey Devils beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 6-0 Sunday night.

Brodeur made just 15 saves and was never under serious pressure as he racked up his 49th career shutout. He improved to 20-4-2 against Tampa Bay with four shutouts.

The Devils clamped down in the third period, limiting the Lightning to only three shots in their fourth straight victory.

The Lightning, 6-0 winners over the New York Islanders on Saturday night, lost for the 10th time in 13 games (2-10-1).

Sykora had the lone goal of the first period as he took a crossing pass from Bobby Holik deep in the Tampa Bay zone and deposited the puck past Wade Flaherty for a power-play score at 14:47.

Arnott put the Devils up 2-0 with a power-play tally at 16:40 of the second as he knocked in a rebound of a shot by Holik.

Arnott then scored his third goal in two games since returning from a back injury, deflecting a return pass from Patrick Elias while being checked to the ice at 5:23 of the third.

Gomez, who missed five games because of a back injury, converted a perfect feed from Alexander Mogilny at 13:26 to increase the lead to 4-0. Gomez, then set up by Mogilny, connected again at 18:35.

Sykora got his second goal with 1:03 remaining to close out the scoring.

Notes: The Devils added defensive help by acquiring Sean O'Donnell from the Minnesota Wild for D Willie Mitchell. ... Flaherty made his first appearance for the Lightning. He was traded to Tampa Bay by the New York Islanders on Feb. 16.
