Kosovo Rebels Free Yugo Soldiers

LIKOVAC, Yugoslavia (AP) _ Kosovo rebels today freed all eight Yugoslav army soldiers they had been holding, the U.S. head of the international monitoring mission announced.
It wasn't immediately known if the Kosovo Liberation Army that released the eight after five days in captivity would have any of their rebels freed by the Serb side in return, as they had demanded.
International monitors had said Tuesday that the rebels would quickly release the soldiers, whose seizure Friday in northern Kosovo prompted a buildup of Yugoslav army and Serbian police forces in the region and a threat that force would be used to free them.
