OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Jody Pruitt had three hits and Suzie Parra threw a five-hitter Friday night as third-seeded Arizona beat Long Beach State 6-0 in the first round of the College Softball World Series.

Arizona (41-7) will play again Saturday against the winner of Friday night's late game between No. 2 Cal St.-Northridge and Southwestern Louisiana. Long Beach State (45-20) will play the loser of that game Saturday in an elimination game.

Laura Espinosa drove in two runs in the three-run first inning for Arizona, which had 13 hits. The Wildcats added a run in the second, then closed out the scoring with three in the fourth.

Parra (25-2) struck out six and walked three.
