HOLYOKE, Mass. (AP) — A man has been shot and killed in downtown Holyoke.
Police said the man was shot outside of a party in a vacant commercial building on Maple Street at about 1:30 Sunday morning.
The Boston Globe reported that the man had just finished performing at the after-hours party, when he was shot once in the upper chest. Police described the victim as a young man and a rapper with roots in the city.
