ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) _ President Clinton called German Chancellor Helmut Kohl on Wednesday to discuss his trip last week to Moscow and review international economic issues.
Clinton and the German leader spoke for about 15 minutes, White House spokesman Barry Toiv said. Kohl had previously asked Clinton to fill him in on his Russia trip, which took place during a Russian government crisis. Kohl planned to talk to President Boris Yeltsin on Thursday, Toiv said.
Clinton called Kohl from an Orlando hotel during a break in Democratic fund-raising events.
