NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Bubba Trammell and Jayson Bass hit home runs in the seventh inning Saturday, lifting the Detroit Tigers to a 6-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers.
Bass hit a two-run homer after Trammell had tied it 3-3 with a leadoff homer.
Frank Thomas hit his first homer of the spring, a three-run shot in the sixth for Chicago.
Following Trammell's shot, Deivi Cruz singled before Bass homered off losing Chicago reliever Carlos Castillo.
Dave Martinez also homered for Chicago.
Willie Blair got the win for Detroit and Felipe Lira earned a save.
