Dow Gains 35 in Early Trading

NEW YORK (AP) _ Stock prices are higher in moderate trading. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 35 points in today's early going. Gainers on the New York Stock Exchange hold a nearly 4-1 lead over losers.
The Nasdaq Composite Index has gained 17 points and the Standard & Poor's 500 Stock Index is ahead almost four points.
The momentum is moving back to Wall Street.
U.S. stocks are posting early gains, after global markets celebrated Friday's advances on Wall Street.
Hong Kong stocks were up nearly six percent today. London share prices have gained nearly two percent.
And the bond market is coming back to earth, after Treasury prices soared last week while equities were being battered.
On the economic calendar, the government released a report this morning showing modest gains in personal incomes and consumer spending in September.
