OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) _ Antawn Jamison had 35 points and 13 rebounds as the Golden State Warriors snapped their three-game losing streak with another impressive home victory, 111-106 over the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday night.
Gilbert Arenas scored 22 points on a sprained right ankle, and Troy Murphy had 18 as the young Warriors kept their poise through a tense fourth quarter in which they never led by more than five points, but never trailed, either.
Elden Campbell scored 24 points, and Jamal Mashburn and Baron Davis had 23 apiece as New Orleans lost its third straight game for the first time all season.
Earl Boykins scored nine of his 13 points for Golden State in the fourth quarter, including two free throws with 41 seconds left.
Mashburn and Davis missed shots for New Orleans in the closing seconds. After Adonal Foyle missed two free throws with 10.2 seconds left, Mashburn missed another 3-pointer and Foyle hit two free throws with 2.3 seconds left.
