LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say a 12-year-old boy is accused of firing a shotgun at a group of adults.
The Review-Journal reports that the shooting happened Sunday while a woman and two men were at her ex-boyfriend's house for a custody exchange.
Metropolitan Police Lt. David Gordon said the ex-boyfriend's son confronted the woman and two men with a shotgun. Gordon says the boy shot once into the ground, striking one man's foot with a pellet or birdshot.
No one else was injured during the exchange and the man struck in the foot refused medical attention.
Police are searching for the boy.
