Billy Graham Returns to Toronto Hospital for Tests
Jun. 13, 1995
TORONTO (AP) _ The Rev. Billy Graham was back in the hospital for tests today, a week after he was admitted for treatment of a bleeding colon.
Graham, 76, was readmitted to Toronto's East General Hospital on Monday after tests showed he was losing blood, his office said. His hospitalization forced him to cancel the first three days of his five-day Toronto crusade.
He was released on Friday and preached to sellout crowds at Toronto's SkyDome on Saturday and Sunday.
The reverend, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, planned to undergo more tests today, according to a statement from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
