EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) _ Ravens punter Dave Zastudil left Sunday's game against the New York Jets with a left shoulder injury, leaving backup quarterback Kordell Stewart to take over punting duties.

Zastudil was hurt on a return midway through the second quarter. Stewart, who is nicknamed ``Slash'' because he can line up at several positions offensively, had his first punt go 31 yards. Starting quarterback Kyle Boller is listed as the backup punter on the depth chart.

According to the Ravens' media guide, Stewart has not attempted a punt in the NFL. In addition to playing quarterback, Stewart has 41 receptions for 658 yards and five touchdowns, along with 2,545 yards rushing.

All-Pro cornerback Chris McAlister also left the game in the second quarter with a neck stinger.
