Top-ranked Rory McIlroy is in a group with Jason Dufner, Brandt Snedeker and Billy Horschel. Masters champion Jordan Spieth is grouped with Mikko Ilonen, Matt Every and Lee Westwood. Westwood is coming off a victory Sunday in the Asian Tour's Indonesia Masters. ... Phil Mickelson withdrew because of personal reasons. He was replaced by Ilonen. ... Tiger Woods failed to qualify. Notes: Ko is making her first start in the event. She has two LPGA Tour victories this year and seven overall. ... Brooke Henderson earned the final qualifying spot in the field Tuesday morning, holing a 10-foot birdie putt on the second hole of a playoff. The 17-year-old Canadian finished third Sunday in California, a stroke out of the playoff. ... The 144-player field will be cut to the top 70 and ties after the second round and to the top 50 and ties after the third. ... Inbee Park won the inaugural event in 2013. ... Oklahoma State's Maddie McCrary and Texas A&M's Marijosse Navarro earned spots in the field in the College Shootout. ... The tour is off next week.
