Supersonic jet makes emergency landing in Canada en route to New York

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (AP) _ A British Airways Concorde jet en route to New York made an emergency landing in eastern Canada today after developing engine trouble over the Atlantic.
The distinctive needle-nosed plane landed safely on three of its four engines, said a spokesman for the airport in Halifax, capital of the Atlantic province of Nova Scotia.
No other details were available.
