NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) _ Keith Cornett's 18 points included a 10-for-10 free throw performance that led Texas-Arlington to a 75-68 victory over Northwestern State in a Southland Conference game Saturday night.
UTA (6-13, 3-8 in the Southland) used a 20-8 run over the last 7:11 of the first half to take control. That built a 40-29 lead at halftime and Northwestern (10-9, 5-6) never got closer than five points after that.
