STATESBORO, Ga. (AP) _ Quincy Wright scored 26 points and Quentin Martin added 24 points and had seven rebounds as Georgia Southern beat Jacksonville State 95-85 Tuesday night.

Georgia Southern (2-0) trailed 55-53 with 14:29 remaining before Fernando Daniel tied it with a layup, broke the tie with a free throw and Martin added a three-point play. A 9-1 burst by the Eagles stretched a 65-63 lead to 74-64 with 8:02 to play.

Jason Robinson scored 28 points and had 11 rebounds for the Gamecocks (0-1).
