BRISTOL, Tenn. (AP) _ Chicago White Sox prospect Tim Tisch threw a seven-inning no-hitter Thursday night in the Rookie-level Appalachian League.

The Bristol left-hander was perfect until he walked Andy Schutzenhofer to lead off the sixth. Tisch (2-0) struck out six and walked one as he lowered his ERA to 1.20. He has 25 strikeouts and 12 walks in 30 innings this season.

The Sox beat the St. Louis Cardinals' affiliate Johnson City 2-0 in the opener of a doubleheader.
