WATERLOO, Ind. (AP) _ A 3-year-old girl, her mother and great-grandfather were found shot to death Saturday in a rural home. Two other children in the house were not harmed.

Lawrence L. Lee, 18, of nearby Hicksville, Ohio, was arrested Saturday night in the slayings and was being held in Ohio. Charges were not immediately filed.

Authorities would not comment on the suspect's relationship with the victims nor would they give details of the shootings. Clues at the house outside Waterloo, about 20 miles north of Fort Wayne, led police to Lee.

Police were called by a wounded man who fled the house, said DeKalb County Sheriff Donald Crowl. John E. West, 41, underwent surgery for an arm wound. Crowl did not know his relationship to the victims.

Authorities identified the dead as 3-year-old Latasha Sue Rhodes, her mother, Tina Marie Rhodes, 32; and her great-grandfather, Howard Oberlin, 76 or 77.

The three lived in the house with Latasha's two siblings, Crowl said. The two unharmed children, both under 10 years old, were placed in protective custody.
