LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, Pa. (AP) — Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run pickup truck driver who struck and seriously injured two people.

Lower Southampton police say the accident occurred around 8:15 p.m. Monday. They say the man driving the truck apparently stopped briefly at the scene to help move one victim to the side of the road but then drove off.

The two 18-year-old victims — a man and a woman — were both taken to a hospital. The woman was listed in critical condition, while details on the man's condition were not immediately available.

Their names have not been released.

Authorities say the pickup should be missing a passenger side mirror and also have a broken passenger-side headlight.
