Reds thrash Sagan Tosu 6-1 to widen lead in J-League

TOKYO (AP) — Zlatan Ljubijanki scored two goals in the second half on Saturday as Urawa Reds thrashed Sagan Tosu 6-1 to stay undefeated and increase its lead in the J-League.
Kota Mizunuma put hosts Sagan Tosu ahead with the only goal in the first half but Yuki Muto, Yosuke Kashiwagi and Shinzo Koroki scored three quick goals after the break as Urawa seized control.
Ljubijanki put the result beyond doubt with his fourth of the season in the 76th minute and closed out the scoring with three minutes left after Tsukasa Umesaki made it 5-1 in the 83rd.
Urawa improved to 33 points, six ahead of Sanfrecce Hiroshima which was held to a goalless draw with Shonan Bellmare. FC Tokyo is in third place on 26 points after a 2-1 win over Kashiwa Reysol.
In other matches, treble winners Gamba Osaka were held to a 1-1 draw by Yokohama F Marinos.
Ventforet Kofu extended its winning streak to three matches with a 2-0 win over last place Albirex Niigata. Hidetaka Kanazono's goal gave Vegalta Sendai a 1-0 win over Vissel Kobe.
Shuhei Akasaki scored twice to lead Kashima Antlers to a 3-1 win over Matsumoto Yamaga. Two goals each from Hideki Ishige and Peter Utaka powered Shimizu S-Pulse to a 5-2 victory over Kawasaki Frontale.
Nagoya Grampus and Montedio Yamagata finished 0-0.
