De Pree Named Ambassador To Bangladesh

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) _ President Reagan announced on Tuesday that he intends to nominate Willare Ames De Pree as the ambassador to the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the White House said.
De Pree would succeed Howard Bruner Schaffer. A career member of the Foreign Service, De Pree has served in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Egypt and Cyprus, the announcement said.
Most recently, he has served as the director of the Office of Management Operations in the State Department.
