CENTREVILLE, Md. (AP) _ A woman who ran a day-care center out of her home pleaded no contest Thursday to reckless endangerment in the deaths of two infants who suffocated accidentally.

Stacey Russum could get up to five years in prison on each of the two charges at sentencing April 19. Under the plea bargain, prosecutors dropped involuntary manslaughter charges.

The medical examiner said the 6-month-old boys suffocated accidentally. Medical officials speculated that soft bedding fell over the children's faces as they slept at Ms. Russum's home in Stevensville last May.
