ADT Corp., up $12.77 to $39.64
The home security services company agreed to be bought by Apollo Global Management for $42 per share, or $6.94 billion.
Hormel Foods Corp., up $2.94 to $44.44
The maker of Spam and Dinty Moore stew posted a stronger-than-expected quarterly profit and raised its forecast for the year.
