Leicester man gets 24 years on child porn charges
Sep. 06, 2013
BOSTON (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a Leicester man has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for using a 5-year-old girl to produce pornography which he then shared online.
Jason Clark was also sentenced Thursday to 10 years of probation upon release.
The 31-year-old Clark pleaded guilty in May to five counts of sexual exploitation of a child, distribution of child pornography, transportation of child pornography and possession of child pornography.
Prosecutors say between October 2010 and October 2011, Clark sexually abused the girl, a friend's daughter, produced child pornography and disseminated it by trading it with others and by posting it to websites.
Clark often slept at the girl's mother's home and babysat the child.
Clark apologized in court for betraying the trust of the girl and his friend.
