Missouri pole-vaulter charged with secret sex recordings
Feb. 27, 2018
ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) — Authorities say a pole-vaulter on the track team at Lindenwood University in suburban St. Louis is charged with secretly recording three people having sex.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 24-year-old Xavier Boland was charged Friday with three counts of invasion of privacy. No attorney is listed for him in online court records.
Court documents say the recordings were found on Boland's phone after a woman alleged that he showed her a video and a photo of her having sex with Boland's roommate and assaulted her. The woman also said Boland threatened to post recordings he'd made of her on social media when she resisted.
The court documents say Boland's roommate was unaware that he was in the recordings, as was another woman who was also recorded having sex.
