RABAT, Morocco (AP) _ Ian Poulter, runnerup last year, went one better this year and won the Moroccan Open with a 3-under-par 70 in the final round.

In his second season on tour, the 25-year-old from Great Britiain added the Moroccan title to his victory in last year's Italian Open.

Poulter, who battled tonsilitis all week, was two shots ahead of Britain's David Lynn, with Australia's Peter Lonard a shot back in third. Poulter was 15-under over the Dar-es-Salam Red course and won $98,850.

Lynn shot a final-round 67 while Lonard carded a 68 for 280.
