WHAT'S AT STAKE
No. 4 Mississippi State wants to bounce back from its first loss of the season last weekend against Alabama. The Bulldogs are still in the hunt for an SEC West title and the national playoffs. Vanderbilt is searching for its first SEC win under first-year coach Derek Mason.
Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott vs. Vanderbilt's defense: Prescott had a rough game against Alabama last weekend, throwing three interceptions. He'll try to get back on track against a Vanderbilt defense that ranks near the bottom of the league in most passing statistics.

Vanderbilt: RB Ralph Webb: Webb has 843 yards rushing this season, which is already a freshman record for the program. He has two games left to become just the fifth Commodore to run for 1,000 yards in a season.
Mississippi State: WR De'Runnya Wilson: The 6-foot-5 sophomore continues to be Prescott's favorite target this season. He caught eight passes for 91 yards last weekend against the Crimson Tide.

Mississippi State needs to score just 13 points on Saturday to break the school record for points in a season. The Bulldogs have already scored 378 points this season. The school record is 390, which was set in 2000. ... Prescott has a 13-4 record as the Bulldogs' starting quarterback. He is responsible for 62 career touchdowns (28 rushing, 34 passing) ... MSU RB Josh Robinson has already run for 1,021 yards this season, which makes him the fourth Bulldog over the past five years to reach the 1,000-yard mark. ... Vanderbilt has won 10 of its past 11 games in November, dating back to Nov. 26, 2011. ... Four different quarterbacks have received substantial playing time for the Commodores this season.
