WASHINGTON (AP) _ Total crude oil runs to stills averaged 13,386,000 barrels daily during the week ended Friday, July 24, the American Petroleum Institute reported Thursday. This compared with 13,419,000 barrels daily in the previous week and 12,953,000 barrels daily a year ago.
Crude runs east of California averaged 10,849,000 barrels daily compared with 10,878,000 the previous week and 10,488,000 a year ago.
Motor gasoline production for the latest week amounted to 7,133,000 barrels a day, compared with 7,175,000 barrels a day in the previous week and 7,020,000 a day a year ago.
East of California motor gasoline production was 5,928,000 a day compared with 5,984,000 a day last week and 5,772,000 a day a year ago.
Motor gasoline stocks at the end of the latest week were 226,758,000 barrels, versus 229,905,000 a week earlier and 222,060,000 a year ago.
East of California motor gasoline stocks totaled 194,844,000 barrels, compared with 197,780,000 in the previous week and 192,982,000 barrels last year.
Daily average gross crude and lease condensate production for the week ended Friday was 8,288,000 barrels compared with 8,660,000 last year.
Crude stocks totaled 321,865,000 barrels at the close of last week, against 317,449,000 a week previous and 326,252,000 a year ago.
East of California crude stocks amounted to 244,421,000 barrels, compared with 241,553,000 a week earlier.
Daily imports east of California for the week ended Friday were crude oil, 5,005,000 barrels, residual fuel oil, 532,000, distillate fuel oil, 424,O00, and others 1,041,000, a total of 7,002,000 barrels.
California imports were: crude oil 219,000 barrels, and products 22,000, a total of 241,000 barrels, for a grand total of 7,243,000.
For the four weeks, daily imports east of California were crude oil 4,842,000 barrels, residual fuel oil 345,000, distillate fuel oil 162,000, and others 555,000, for a total of 5,904,000 barrels.
For the four weeks, California daily imports averaged for crude oil 171,000 barrels, products 70,000, a total of 241,000 barrels, for a grand total of 6,145,000 barrels.
