WOBURN, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say one person has been taken to the hospital with critical injuries after an early morning stabbing outside a Woburn sports bar.

Police say a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the neck in the parking lot at Jake n Joes Sports Grille at about 12:20 a.m. Friday. The restaurant closes at midnight.

The victim was taken to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington for surgery. His name has not been made public.

There have been no arrests but police say they are looking for a suspect who may have left the area on a motorcycle.

A Jake n Joes spokesman says company officials are "distraught" and nothing like this has happened before. The company has four locations in Massachusetts.
