ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) _ Fourth-seeded Richard Krajicek became the latest casualty at the ABN AMRO indoor tennis tournament, falling Thursday to Cedric Pioline 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (11-9).

The unseeded Frenchman saved six break points in the first set, came back from 3-0 down in the second and saved two set points during the second tiebreaker.

Yevgeny Kafelnikov and Greg Rusedski both advanced to the quarterfinals, Kefelnikov defeating Moroccan Hicham Arazi 6-1, 6-2 and Rusedski stopping Dutch wild-card entry Edwin Kempes 6-1, 6-4.

In other matches, sixth-seeded Karol Kucera downed unseeded Frenchman Fabrice Santoro 7-6 (7-4), 6-4; South African Wayne Ferreira defeated Jerome Golmard of France 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) and Russian Marat Safin beat Slovakian Dominik Hrbaty 7-6 (7-4), 5-7, 6-3.
